This project emphasised integrating creative and imaginative applications of design and communication processes to contemporary graphic design problems. This industry-based project applied a professional code of ethics to my activities, to solve complex and demanding problems within fixed deadlines, and present work in a professional manner.
Digital Product Design is a rapidly growing field within the design industry. This project focused on User Experience (UX) and User Interface design (UI) skills via the process of developing a digital
product prototype in Adobe XD.
For this project, I created a prototype of a mobile application to assist young Gen Z drivers when they have car troubles.
"A lot of young people don’t know how to change a tyre or know anything about their cars.. we need to change this so we can all feel more confident on the road.”
'Woop Woop' is an app that I created to educate young Australians about vehicle knowledge. This prototype's brand identity aims to reflect it’s purpose of being informative yet modern and appealing to younger users.
A key factor in Woop Woop's brand identity is visibility.
Warm colors, such as red, yellow, and orange, are highly visible from a distance just like road signs. They don’t blend into the scenery, and they’re easy to recognise. It’s a matter of prioritisation that’s quickly and easily established by using the right colors.
